Product detailed description

Gemalto (THALES) SafeNet eToken 5110 CC (940) USB token for professional use in all applications where operational reliability, mechanical resistance and system support are required. It supports key generation and signing using RSA with a length of up to 4096 bits and elliptic curves with keys up to 521 bits.

Designed especially for use in state administration and self-government, where a qualified electronic signature and a qualified electronic seal of documents are required by law.

The token meets the requirements of the eIDAS Qualified Device Regulation (QSCD) for creating a qualified electronic signature or qualified electronic seal. It is the successor of the most widespread token in the Europe, the SafeNet iKey 4000 model, with a total memory of 80kB, with support for many encryption algorithms, including ECC, performed directly in hardware. It is primarily intended for the purposes of PKI (working with certificates) when creating a qualified signature, generating and storing keys, passwords and digital certificates. The advantage is the support of a wide range of operating systems (Windows, Mac OS, Linux), very easy to use and at the same time no reader is needed, only a standard USB port.

Sister model for the IDPrime 940 smart card.
