Gemalto IDPrime MD 841 Mifare Classic 4K EV1 hybrid smart card contains:
- a contact part conforming to the IDPrime MD 840 type which meets the requirements of the eIDAS regulation for a qualified electronic signature creation device (QSCD)
- contactless part of the Mifare Classic 4K EV1 standard which can be used to enter the building, unlock the door, record of arrivals or departures, etc.
IDPrime MD 841 is a highly secured card meeting the highest security requirements. It is primarily intended for PKI (certificate handling) purposes when creating a qualified signature. From a functional point of view, this is a sister model to the Gemalto SafeNet eToken 5110 CC token which we also offer. It includes support for Windows, Mac OS, Linux, Android and iOS operating systems). It requires SAC (SafeNet Authentication Client) middleware for its operation.
